I don't understand this.
I like Wil Wheaton. He's a good comedy writer. He does have his little quirks and things in his articles that aren't really that funny-- in fact, some of the shit can get annoying-- but he's a good comedy writer. He's no Lowtax, and he isn't like Sakura and Lago or anything, or Lore, or the Zeroes, but he's good.
The problem I have with him, though, is he seems to be... well, I don't know if he's self-important. I do know that geeks seem to view his word as gospel, and that's kinda creepy. There's nothing wrong with being followed, but I've personally had to tell people that following me wasn't a good idea.
I guess he probably doesn't have time for that kind of shit, though.
My point is: could you all take your lips off his dick for a couple of months please? It bugs the shit out of me. It's one thing to have an opinion-- it's quite another to have the opinion broadcasted as though it were true.
That's about it.
And now, back to my own little version of opinionated bullshit!
